Oct. 13th was the first John Peel Day in Britain — to celebrate, Dr. Hal serves up two complete Peel sessions by EEKAMOUSE and DEPARTMENT S, throws in not one but two Kraut-rock bands, IDEAL and TON STEINE SCHERBEN, then finishes off with a rare 1987 Chilean concert by SODA STEREO. Plus the usual odd assortments as you’ve come to expect 8′). TONIGHT AT 8PM CST!
Congrats go out to Brian in WI and Paul in IL; They are our first two winners of the new Ric Ocasek CD. When they heard us play something new from the CD they sent us an email (feedbackat80sairwavesdotcom) with “Ric, Ric, Ric” in the subject and their mailing address in the body. The last one will be given away TODAY - so pay attention!
