Anyone Heard from Hal?
I’m wondering if anyone in the BitTorrent community, especially at DaD, has had any communication from Dr. Hal? He lives near Hattiesburg MS and sent me this email on Sunday: “Well, Katrina is five or six hours away from landfall (and is big enough to be hitting us even then when it does!), so I’ve uploaded this Friday’s show — if Camille is any indication, we’ll be out of power for days or more, but I’m hoping power will be back by Friday so I can send the URLs (3 Peel sessions to torrent on DIME, plus three others already there).
I just couldn’t face the storm without putting in my best show yet 8′).”

Once again, the following was provided by Hal on Sunday, just six hours before Katrina came to his town: “Join Hal’s Friday Night Fantasy concert hurricane party this week as he brews up the perfect storm of no less than THREE John Peel sessions: COOK THE BOOKS, SEBASTIAN’S MEN, AND THE 3 JOHNS. And that’s just to whet your appetite for three bands and four concerts building up to the headliners, THE JAM! Laissez le bon roulement de périodes in New Orleans’ memory!”
