“Soul Asylum bassist Karl Mueller, 41, lost his year-long battle with
throat cancer on Friday at his Minneapolis home. The band had held a benefit concert for Mueller in October for which Husker Du reunited for a one-time performance and many other acts participated. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday in Minneapolis.”
