R.I.P.H.S.T.
Aimee called me this morning to tell me about Hunter Thompson taking himself out. A lot is being said by a lot of people, but I’ll probably reserve my thoughts and comments for the March issue of the Transmitter (should be in your email Wednesday of next week). In the meantime, tomorrow night (Feb 22) at 10PM CST, I’ll be airing a special lecture Hunter gave in Colorado in 1977. It’s the best quality of about four or five lectures I have of his. It’s nearly 80 minutes long but if you think you know Hunter from movies like Fear and Loathing or Where the Buffalo Roam, you might want to tune and hear the stories from the man himself. Personally, we watched a documentary this evening called Breakfast with Hunter. Seems a fitting way to remember the man in all his glory. More to come…
