Troubles & New Releases
Not sure what happened late yesterday morning, but from the charts it appears that the station was having some major troubles for about two hours. We’ll keep a closer eye on it today and reboot the server if necessary. Just curious though, what other stations do you listen to when we are “experiencing technical difficulties”. Luckily, it’s been a while. knocking on wood laminate.
Last night I was able to add two new releases to our New Releases rotation:
#1 Martha Davis - …So The Story Goes: Many thanks to Martha for sending us this promotional disc of her third solo effort since The Motels disbanded in the 80s. The four songs added are: Angel, Crazy, Into Your Arms and Torture Me. Selecting just four songs off this disc of 12 was very difficult, this really is a solid and powerful album. Visit MarthaDavis.com or the iTunes music store.
#2: Erasure - Nightbird: Many thanks to BitTorrent, we now have the Erasure album a few weeks before it hits stores. Visit their website to find out about their massive upcoming tour through Europe and the US during every bit of 2005, starting in February. The songs we added off Nightbird are: No Doubt, Let’s Take One More Rocket to the Moon, Sweet Surrender and I Bet You’re Mad at Me.
Aimee has agreed to do the intros for the new U2 release, so that should go up this week as well. I’m working a few others as well that I think most of our listeners will appreciate. More to come - stay tuned!
